3/22/23: Update Regarding Candidate Questionnaire
Dear Residents of Elk Grove Village,
On March 7th, the Friends of Cycling in Elk Grove (FCEG), Friends of Busse Woods, and Cycling Without Age – Elk Grove Village sent a questionnaire to all four candidates who are running for trustee in Elk Grove Village. Visit egvbikes.org/advocacy for more information and to view the questionnaire.
The purpose of the questionnaire is to learn more about each candidate’s views and plans related to active transportation (walking and biking) and sustainability in The Exceptional Community. Completed questionnaires are intended to be a resource for Elk Grove Village residents to consult when deciding for whom to cast their vote on April 4.
Nonprofit and community organizations are allowed to survey candidates provided that established guidelines are followed. The questionnaire was developed in accordance with state and federal laws.
Because we have not received responses from at least half of the candidates, we have chosen to not publish any candidate responses. We encourage each candidate to publicly share their personal concerns, ideas, and suggestions related to active transportation and sustainability prior to the election on April 4.
