FCEG would like to thank the over 40 individuals who donated to our campaign! With their generous support, we exceeded our goal and raised a total of $2,585 in donations. With the FCEG match of $2,500, the total amount raised during this campaign is $5,085.
Friends Helping Friends CampaignFCEG is a community-based bike advocacy organization that encourages adults and children to bike for recreation and transportation. Since 2012, we've been working diligently "to promote, support, and improve cycling in Elk Grove".
Financial support from local businesses has been key to our success. Their support has enhanced events, such as Bike with the Mayor, The Ride of Silence, and the Busse Woods Night Ride. As a result of the precautions taken to contain the outbreak of COVID-19 in 2020, some of our sponsors are experiencing hardships. Many had to temporarily shut down, reduce hours, or reinvent the way they do business to stay afloat. |
